Transported Cooled and Frozen Semen

Collection and Shipping 2024 Pricing:

1st Shipment: $450

Any Additional Shipments: $400

Frozen Semen Shipment: $600

Payments:

When a request is made 24 hours in advance an invoice will be sent to the mare owner via email at the time of the shipment request. The invoice will need to be paid by 8AM CST the day of shipping. No semen will be shipped without payment paid in full. 

OR

Mare owner can mail a check to Michelle Hamilton in advance. IF check does not clear, the contract will become void immediately. No semen will be shipped.

Payment for shipping is not due until a shipment is requested, shipments must be requested 24 hours in advance. Payment must be made by 8:00AM CST the day of shipping.

HOW TO ORDER SHIPPED SEMEN:

To order shipped semen please text or call Michelle Hamilton at (660)864-3200. We do require a 24 hour notice. No shipments will be guaranteed without a 24 hour notice. DO NOT CONTACT KsCER. If mare owner or vet is requesting a shipment you must contact Michelle Hamilton directly. Texting is preferred!

It is VERY important that the vet or mare owner personally contact Michelle Hamilton. Do not contact The Kansas Center for Equine Reproduction to order a shipment. If vet or mare owner does not contact Michelle directly the shipment will not be shipped. No exceptions.

When texting to order a shipment please include the following information:

• Mare Owner Name  - Needs to match name on the contract

• Vet Clinic Name, Shipping Address, and Phone Number

Michelle Hamilton MUST be notified 24 hours in advance of collection day to insure your shipment.  Shipment days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from Feb 1st – July 1st, 2024, with the exception of Memorial Day, there will NOT be shipments on this day, or any FedEx Holiday.  No mares will be bred with fresh semen after July 1st, 2024. Confirmation or cancellation may be made by 8AM CST the day of shipping.  

Cancellations not called in by 8AMCST will be charged for that shipment.  

Shipments are filled on a 1st come 1st serve basis.  Please remember that a cooled semen contract does not guarantee semen will be available.  In the unlikely event of insufficient semen on a particular breeding day, Michelle Hamilton reserves the right to determine which mares will be bred based on reproductive status.  

Important Notes:

• We do NOT offer counter to counter shipments

• If mare is not in foal by July 1st mare owner will have to use frozen semen

• Frozen semen shipments cost $600 per shipment

• Collection and Shipping is one combined price per shipment

• No fresh semen shipments after July 1st 2024. No exceptions.
